I finished reading this on the train on the way into work this morning.

It's a great younger readers book by one of my favourite authors.

It has his usual level of inventiveness and wordplay and I highly recommend it.

If any of you haven't read his other books I think you should rush to your nearest library and immediately borrow a copy of Perdido Street Station before I have to publicly shame you.
